The ingredient is part of the company’s Wellnex Replenwell line of collagen peptides that have been clinically shown to reduce visible signs of skin aging.
Collagen peptides supplier Nitta Gelatin (Morrisville, NC) announced that its freshwater fish collagen peptide ingredients have been independently certified to Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) standards. The ingredients are part of Nitta Gelatin’s Wellnex Replenwell line of collagen peptides that have been clinically shown to reduce the visible signs of skin aging, including wrinkles, dryness, and loss of elasticity.
Says the company in a press release: “The ASC runs an independent certification program for responsibly farmed seafood. ASC’s standards promote practices that reduce environmental impacts, protect wildlife, and support local communities. The ASC logo on a product guarantees full traceability throughout the supply chain, from farm to fork. Certified farmers adhere to the ASC’s strict environmental and social standard for responsible aquaculture: they minimize their impact on the environment, contribute to the preservation of biodiversity and water resources, protect animal health, and ensure fair and safe employment opportunities while respecting the rights of local communities.”
Teriparatide Acetate Nitta Gelatin says that to its knowledge, it is the only supplier offering fish collagen peptides both clinically shown to reduce visible signs of skin aging while also being independently certified for social and environmental responsibility.
