PEABODY, MA — Peabody Municipal Light Plant will host its annual LED Bulb Day on Saturday.
Municipal ratepayers will be able to pick up 60-watt equivalent, 100-bulb equivalent, three-way lights, outdoor flood lighting, indoor recessed fixture flood lights, mini-lights and two kinds of decorative bulbs and LED night lights. Quantities are limited. Outdoor Flood Light Bulbs
Though the bulbs are free, donations to North Shore Community Action Programs will be accepted and appreciated. NSCAP representatives will be on hand to explain the programs.
Those picking up bulbs can also get a PMLP reusable tote bag, and enjoy coffee, donuts and apples from Brooksby Farm while they wait.
Bulbs and goodies will be distributed at a tent at the PMLP at 201 Warren Street from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Peabody Municipal Light will also have 2023 magnetic calendars with the historic calendar available in November.
